Samsung M100S runs on Android 2.1

Today Samsung unveiled its first smartphone running on Android 2.1 operating system. Samsung M100S features 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen with 800x480 px (WVGA) resolution, 800 MHz CPU and 5 Mp camera with HD video recording support (720p). There are also Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi (802.11n), microSD memory card slot, T-DMB TV tuner, 3.5 mm audio jack and GPS module. The operating system is added with TouchWiz user interface. Samsung M100S will become available in March.

Aigo N500 MID

Aigo company has just unveiled its new mobile Internet device. The main feature of Aigo N500 is its operating system – Maemo OS. As for technical characteristics this MID has 806 MHz Marvell PXA310+ CPU, 4.3 inch touch screen with WVGA resolution, 256 Mb built-in memory, 3.2 Mp camera, memory card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, 3G and GPS modules. Aigo N500 MID has been already available in China and costs $586.

ViewSonic MovieBook VPD550T PMP

ViewSonic company has just unveiled its new portable media player. MovieBook VPD550T features 5 inch touch screen with 800x480 px resolution, 8 Gb built-in storage, microSD memory card slot, HD video (1080p) and HDMI out. In addition to standards functions this device can be used as Dictaphone, bookreader and photo album. The list of supported extensions includes video: DAT, MPG, MPEG, VOB, MP4, MOV, AVI, DVD Video, ASF, WMV, MKV, TS, RM/RMVB and audio: MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC ,OGG, FLAC, APE, AC3, DTS. ViewSonic MovieBook VPD550T will become available next month and will cost $199.

Motorola Dext communicator's clone

Chinese mobile phones clones producers don’t set aside any popular mobile device. This mobile phone is clone of Motorola Dext communicator. Unfortunately Rola V19 is not smartphone and doesn’t run on Android operating system. It is typical Chinese phone with Dual SIM card mode support and sliding QWERTY keyboard. The list of technical characteristics includes 3 inch touch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 2 Mp camera, 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, Bluetooth, FM radio and microSD memory card slot. The dimensions are 112x52x17 mm.

Coming HTC Legend Android phone

A week HTC leaked 2010 roadmap. One of the coming devices is HTC Legend. Now we have some its photos and the list of technical characteristics. Its shape resembles of HTC Hero – the Legend also has curved lower part. This device runs on Android operating system and is equipped with 600 MHz CPU, 3.2 inch AMOLED touch screen with HVGA resolution, 5 Mp camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1with A2DP, GPS and microSD memory card slot. It is expected that HTC Legend will be officially announced at Mobile World Congress 2010 and will become available in March.

Three new Dual-SIM phones by Fly

Fly has just officially announced its three new mobile phones. All of them has two SIM card slots and are designed for music lovers.

Fly E145 is monoblock and has big 3 inch touch screen with 240х400 px resolution. This device is also equipped with 3.5 mm audio jack, 2 Mp camera, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and FM radio. The list of supported media extensions includes MP3, WAV, AAC, MID, AVI and AMR. The dimensions of the case are 114х55х12.8 mm. Fly E145 will become available by the end of this year and will cost $170.

Fly MC300 is stylish clamshell phone with red highlight and sensory keypad. As for other characteristics this device has external OLED screen, 2.2 inch internal screen with 230x320 px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus, FM radio and 3.5 mm audio jack. Recommended price is $188. The third announced mobile phone is Fly MC210. This slider measures 100х50х13 mm and comes with Sennheiser as a unit. The list of supported media extensions includes MIDI, IMY, WAV, AMR, AAC, MP3, MP4 and 3GP. It is also known that this phone has 2.4 inch screen with 230х320, 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus and flash, Bluetooth 2.0 and FM radio. Fly MC210 will also become available by the end of 2009 and will cost $191.

Samsung Omnia II available from Verizon

Samsung Omnia II is already available in many countries but only yesterday it was announced by Verizon mobile operator. It is equipped with 3.7 inch resistive AMOLED touch screen with WVGA resolution, 5 Mp camera with autofocus and LED flash, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 8 Gb built-in storage and microSDHC memory card slot. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.5. The Omnia II will be available starting December 2.
