Samsung Admire Android Gingerbread smartphone

Samsung has just announced its new smartphone that will be exclusively sold by Cellular South mobile operator. Samsung Admire runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is equipped with 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 320x480px resolution, 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack, MicroSD external memory card slot. No word about release date and price.

ViewSonic ViewPad 7x

ViewSonic has just announced its new device that is positioned as the first 7-inch tablet computer running on Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb. ViewSonic ViewPad 7x is based on NVIDIA Tegra 2 system-on-chip platform with 1GHz dual-core processor and is equipped with 7-inch capacitive touch screen with 1280x800px resolution, 1.3MP front-facing webcam, 5MP AF camera on the back side of the device, HDMI output, 3G module, Wi-Fi, accelerometer, 3.5mm headphones jack. The producer will demonstrate ViewSonic ViewPad 7x on Computex exhibition that will take place on May, 31.

Motorola Droid 2 high-end smartphone

Today Motorola together with Verizon officially announced its new smartphone that will become available in two days. Motorola Droid 2 is powered by Google’s Android 2.2 operating system and supports Adobe Flash 10.1. Samsung M100S runs on Android 2.1

Today Samsung unveiled its first smartphone running on Android 2.1 operating system. Samsung M100S features 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen with 800x480 px (WVGA) resolution, 800 MHz CPU and 5 Mp camera with HD video recording support (720p). There are also Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi (802.11n), microSD memory card slot, T-DMB TV tuner, 3.5 mm audio jack and GPS module. The operating system is added with TouchWiz user interface. Samsung M100S will become available in March.

Sony Ericsson Equinox

T-Mobile together with Sony Ericsson officially announced new mobile phone – Sony Ericsson Equinox. It is clamshell phone with stylish design and impressive set of technical characteristics. The main feature of this device is special highlight that provide wide customization opportunities. This coming mobile phone is also equipped with 2.2 inch screen with 240x320 px resolution, external screen with 36x128 px resolution, 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS and microSD memory card slot. Sony Ericsson Equinox will become available in T-Mobile’s shops tomorrow.

Archos 9 Tablet PC

Archos company has just officially announced its new mobile device – Archos 9 – to become available on October 22. The operating system of this MID is Windows 7. As for technical characteristics includes Atom Z510 1.1 GHz CPU, 9 inch touch screen with 1024x600 px resolution, 1 Gb RAM, 60 Gb hard disk, DVBT TV tuner, GPS and Bluetooth 2.1 modules. The weight of this table PC is 800g, It is expected that Archos 9 will cost about $500.
