Samsung has just announced its new mobile phone designed for active social networking services users. Samsung Character (SCH-R640) is a touchphones equipped with sliding QWERTY keyboard. It is based on proprietary platform that includes TouchWiz Lite user interface. The device has 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen with 240x320px resolution, 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth, MicroSD external memory card slot. The battery of this phone provides about 5 hours of talk time or 288 hours of standby one. The device measures 106.7x55.4x14.7mm and weights 120g.
