Two new Nokia's entry-level phones

Today Nokia announced its two new budget-class devices – C2-05 and X2-05. Both these mobile phones will cost about EUR50 and will become available in next few months.Nokia C2-05 is a sliding phone designed for active social networks users. It has 2-inch display with 320x240px resolution, 64MB internal storage, MicroSD external memory card slot, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1 module, 0.3MP camera, 3.5mm headphones jack. The dimensions are 99x48x16.3mm, the weight is 99g. The battery has 860mAh capacity and provides about 5 hours of talk time or 25 days of standby one.

Nokia X2-05 is a monoblock device that belongs to Xpress Music series. The device is equipped with powerful loudspeaker, 2.2-inch display with 320x240px resolution, MicroSD card slot, Bluetooth, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack. The body of this phone measures 113x50x15mm and weights 88g. The battery provides about 7 hours of talk time.

HTC Amaze 4G

On October, 6 HTC will release its new smartphone that was known as Ruby. HTC Amaze 4G runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sense 3.5 user interface and is based on 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The list of specifications includes 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen with 540x980px resolution, 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 8MP autofocus camera with double LED flash, front-facing 2MP camera for video calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm headphones jack, MicroSD card slot.

Yahoo! Phone Android smartphone

Japanese SoftBank Mobile has just announced quite unusual Android smartphone – standard Google’s services and apps are replaced with analogous ones by Yahoo. In other respects Yahoo! Phone is a quite typical Android smartphone – it has 4-inch capacitive touchscreen with 960x540px resolution, 1GHz processor, 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash, MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB cards are supported), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, TV tuner.

Samsung Admire Android Gingerbread smartphone

Samsung has just announced its new smartphone that will be exclusively sold by Cellular South mobile operator. Samsung Admire runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is equipped with 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 320x480px resolution, 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack, MicroSD external memory card slot. No word about release date and price.

Samsung Character

Samsung has just announced its new mobile phone designed for active social networking services users. Samsung Character (SCH-R640) is a touchphones equipped with sliding QWERTY keyboard. It is based on proprietary platform that includes TouchWiz Lite user interface. The device has 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen with 240x320px resolution, 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth, MicroSD external memory card slot. The battery of this phone provides about 5 hours of talk time or 288 hours of standby one. The device measures 106.7x55.4x14.7mm and weights 120g. The producer didn’t share the price of this device but it is clear that it will be affordable.

Nokia X1-00 Dual-SIM phone

Today Nokia officially announced its new budget-class mobile phone featuring Dual-SIM function support and powerful loud speaker. Nokia X1-00 also offers an impressive battery life – 13 hours of talk time or 43 days of standby one. Other specifications of this affordable smartphone are TFT display with 128x160px resolution, LED torch, 3.5mm headphones jack, MicroSD external memory card slot (up to 16GB). Supported networks standards are GSM 900/1800MHz. The phone measures 112.2х47.3х16mm and weights 91g. The price of Nokia X1-01 will be about EUR35.

Nokia N9 teaser video

Nokia has just published the first teaser video of this mobile device. Nokia N9 is a horizontal slider with full QWERTY keyboard. It runs on MeeGo operating system with a user interface that is very similar to Symbian OS’s one. Thus Nokia tries to unify all their smartphones` user interfaces. The video doesn’t unveil Nokia N9’s specifications. The only thing that it shows is 12MP camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar 2.8/28 optics.
