Land Rover S1 rugged mobile phone was introduced on Mobile World Congress 2009 by Land Rover and Sonim companies. This mobile device features 2 Mp camera, A-GPS navigation support and Opera-mini web browser. The producers provide 3 year guarantee and will give another device in case of breakage. It is water, dust, salt and shock resistant. The ultrastrong case is made of special XENOY plastic which is produced of used plastic bottles. The release will take place this year. NS2 Japanese phone

South Korean Pantech company together with Japanese KDDI mobile operator introduced NS02 mobile phone. This clamshell device begins to middle class and supports CDMA 1X WIN networks. There is 2.7 inch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 2 Mp camera, 100 Mb memory, microSD memory card slot and built in battery which provides 3.5 hour of talk mode. Availbale colors are white, black and yellow.

Acer M900 QWERTY communicator

Acer introduced some new communicators on MWC 2009. One of them is M900. It is horizontal sliding phone with QWERTY keyboard. As other Acer’s devices this communicator runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. There is also Outlook and Office Mobile pre-installed applications. The screen of the M900 is very impressive – it has 3.8 inch diagonal. As for rest this phone has GPS module, 5 Mp camera, FM radio, microSD memory card slot and HSDPA technology support. In addition Acer M900 features finger scanner. Thus user’s private data will be secure.

Gigabyte GSmart S1200 communicator

Gigabyte company also takes part in Mobile World Congress 2009 and has just announced GSmart S1200 communicator. It has classic shape and satisfies “e2” design standards. Its thickness is only 11.4 mm but it has all functions that present-day mobile device needs – Qualcomm 528 MHz CPU, 3.1 inch touch screen with 480x800 px resolution, 3 Mp camera with flash, 0.3 Mp frontal camera, 128 Mb RAM, 256 Mb ROM, microSD memory card support, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, GPS and 1010 mAh battery. The operating system of this device is Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. To improve control the producer installed Smart Zone user interface.

LG GM730 thin communicator

So MWC 2009 started and LG announced its new GM730 communicator which runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and has S-Class UI 3D user interface. This device supports 3G networks (900/2100 MHz), HSDPA (7.2 Mbit/s) and HSUP (2 Mbit/s). In addition it has SNS service support which gives an opportunity to track your location and location of our friends and colleagues. The thickness of LG GM730 is only 11.9 mm. It has 3 inch touch screen with WQVGA resolution, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and 5 Mp camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lenses. The list of pre-installed applications includes Internet Explorer Mobile 6.0. Acer DX650 dual SIM communicator

It is said that Acer will introduce its first three phones on Mobile World Congress 2009. One of them is Acer DX650 communicator which runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The main feature of this device is its “duplicity”. It has no back side)) One of them is covered with 2.8 inch QVGA touch screen. The other side has 1.27 inch one-color OLED screen with 128x96 px resolution and digital keyboard. Also this phone has GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microSD card slot, miniUSB interface and HSDPA support. Another remarkable feature is Dual SIM card mode support.

Sony Ericsson C903

This new Cyber-Shot series phone by Sony Ericsson features 5 Mp camera with 16x digital zoom, autofocus, face detection, Smile Shutter and geotagging functions support. According to Daniel Sandblom who is product global marketing manager of Sony Ericsson this sliding phone will bring style and creativity to middle class of devices. The list of other characteristics also includes 2.4 inch screen with 320x240 px resolution, 105 Mb memory, M2 memory card slot, TV out, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and FM radio with RDS. The release of Sony Ericsson C903 will take place in the second quarter. Available colors will be Lacquer Black, Techno White and Glamour Red.

Samsung C6625 QWERTY smartphone

Soon Samsung will introduce its new QWERTY smartphone - Samsung C6625. It seems that it is based on C6620. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard operating system and has classic shape factor. The list of characteristics includes 2.6 inch QVGA screen, 2 Mp camera, FM radio +RDS, 100 Mb memory, Bluetooth module, microSD/SDHC memory card slot, A-GPS module. LG company introduced mobile phone for music lovers. It is LG KM330. In spite of the fact that this device nice looking device belongs to middle class KM330 has advanced sound features such as additional loud speakers to provide 3D sound. FM radio runs without headphones. To provide fast access to radio and media player functions KM330 has special buttons. Another remarkable feature is Rhythmic Light display illumination. Two coming phones by Spyker

Spyker company which is known Dutch car producer is going to introduce its own two mobile phone on Mobile World Congress 2009. The first device is Spyker EG200 classic shape factor phone which has touchpad instead of usual keyboard. It is also known that this device will have 2 Mp camera and touch screen with 240x320 px resolution. As for other device – we have only its photo. It seems that it is budget sliding mobile phone.

Duros 8404 portable computer

Roper Mobile Duros 8404 is assigned for people who prefer firm mobile devices. The case of Duros 8404 is force and weather impact resistant. Category temperature range is between -20 and 50 degrees centigrade. As for technical features this portable computer has 8.4 inch touch screen with 800x600 pixels resolution, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi module. Sony Ericsson Company has just introduced another Walkman series mobile phone for Japanese mobile phone market. It is Sony Ericsson Premier 3 clamshell phone which features 3 inch 480x854 pixels turning screen, 3 Mp camera, Bluetooth, GPS module, advanced media player and mobile wallet application. In addition this mobile device is equipped with 50 Mb built in memory and microSD memory card slot (up to 2 Gb). Sony Ericsson Premier 3 will become available in Japanese shops this spring. Unfortunately there is no ideas about European and US release.

Samsung B5702 dual SIM device

Dual SIM mobile phones are popular among some users. Samsung company knows that fact and has just announced B5702. This sliding mobile phone is fifth of Samsung’s phones with Dual SIM card mode support. Unfortunately there is no a lot of information about this coming device, but it is said that Samsung B5702 phone will have 240x320 px screen without touch technology support and special LEDs above the screen which might tell us what SIM card we’re using. The B5702 will probably be launched at the MWC 2009 so we’ll bring you more detailed updates on it in about two weeks.

This media player was designed by South Korean mobiBLU company. And we have to admit that mobiBLU T50 looks very stylish. 2.6 inch touch screen covers almost all front surface of this mobile device. The resolution of the screen is 240x400 pixels. The list of supported extension includes RM/RMVB, MP3, WMA, AAC, APE and FLAC. There is also support of different video extension including FLV. Unfortunately there is no any information about release date and pricing.

NV Lifestyle mobile phone

Australian NV company announced its new mobile phone which was named Lifestyle. It looks like many Japanese phones. The screen can be rotated to almost whatever angle you want. One of the main features of NV Lifestyle mobile device is built in TV tuner which provides an opportunity to record TV broadcasts. In addition this mobile phone has Dual SIM card support, Bluetooth 2.0 module, 3.1 Mp camera and FM radio. The phone supports both usual and third generation networks. Its price is $350.
