Pharos 565 WinMo industrial communicator

The number of devices running on Windows Mobile 6.5 grows instantly. But till yesterday there were no industrial communicators among them. Pharos 565 is the first. As many other devices of such class this device satisfies IP54 requirements and its case protects this communicator from moisture, vibration, dust and temperature fluctuations. As for technical characteristics Pharos 565 is equipped with 624 MHz Marvell PXA310, 3.5 inch touch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 256 Mb RAM, 512 Mb ROM, microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, IR port, GPS, bar-code scanner, 3.5 mm audio jack and 1880 mAh battery. Samsung Omnia II available from Verizon

Samsung Omnia II is already available in many countries but only yesterday it was announced by Verizon mobile operator. It is equipped with 3.7 inch resistive AMOLED touch screen with WVGA resolution, 5 Mp camera with autofocus and LED flash, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 8 Gb built-in storage and microSDHC memory card slot. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.5. The Omnia II will be available starting December 2.

Kempler & Strauss Billionair 7

Together with Billionair 6 communicator Kempler & Strauss company announced one more device - Billionair 7. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and supports third generation networks. This QWERTY device has 2.5 inch touch screen with 320x240 px resolution, 624 MHz CPU, 3.2 Mp camera, 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, GPS module and microSD memory card slot (up to 8 Gb). Kempler & Strauss Billionair 7 will become available in next few weeks and will cost $275.

Getac PS236 rugged communicator

Getac company has just revealed its new rugged communicator – Getac PS236. The case of this mobile device corresponds to IP67 and MIL-STD 810G standards. This fact means that Getac PS236 is water, dust, shock resistant and temperature difference (from -30 to +60). As for technical characteristics this new communicator has Marvell PXA310 806 MHz CPU, 3.5 inch touch screen with 480x640 px resolution, 3 Mp camera with autofocus, 128 Mb RAM, 4 Gb built-in memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS module. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.1. The dimensions are 179x97x37 mm. There is no any information about release date and price.

Yulong CoolPad N900

Chinese Yulong company has just introduce its new communicator which is positioned as “iPhone Killer”. CoolPad N900 runs on Windows CE 6.0 operating system and has its user interface designed especially for this device. Another remarkable feature is Dual-SIM mode support. This phone also supports CDMA2000 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE. As for other characteristics Yulong CoolPad N900 has 3.2 inch touch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 2 Mp camera, Bluetooth 2.0, 256 Mb RAM, 256 Mb ROM, 4 Gb iNAND memory and microSD card slot.

HTC Ozone smartphone by Verizon

Verizon Wireless has just officially announced HTC Ozone smartphone. It is positioned as good choice for social networks and chatting lovers. This mobile device is based on HTC Snap. Like many others devices of such class – this one has horizontal screen and QWERTY keyboard. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. First this communicator was shown on Mobile World Congress 2009. But only now LG is ready to release it. The design of LG GM730 which is also known as LG Aigen corresponds to “e2e”. Samsung i220 Code QWERTY smartphone

Sometimes first information about coming mobile phones appear on mobile operator’s sites before official announce. Samsung i220 Code is one of such devices. U.S. Cellular operator positions it as budget mobile phone for chatting and social networks lovers. The design of Samsung i220 Code reminds of HTC XV6175 smartphone but the list of technical characteristics doesn’t. This coming mobile phone has 2 Mp camera with flash, screen with 320x240 px resolution and 262K colors, 128 Mb built in memory, microSD card slot (up to 32 Gb), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and 1480 mAh battery. LG Monaco QWERTY phone

Due to leak we got some information about LG Monaco – the first Windows Mobile 7 based device. This phone is rather thin – only 15.6 mm – but has sliding QWERTY keyboard. It also has Snapdragon CPU, 3.2 inch touch WVGA screen with 262K colors, 5 Mp camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS module and 1500 mAh battery. Supported network standards are UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz and EDGE (Class 10) 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.

HP iPAQ K3 communicator

Formerly HP was a leading producer of Windows Mobile based devices. But it is possible that it will improve its position on world mobile technology market. Recently AT&T announced HP iPAQ K3 which is also know as HP Obsidian. It has classic shape factor and supports third generation networks. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.5. This phone also features QWERTY keyboard, 2.8 inch touch screen with 320x240 px resolution, 2 Mp camera, 256 Mb RAM, 512 Mb ROM, 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth 2.1, microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi and GPS modules. It is expected that HP iPAQ K3 will become available in November.

Samsung B7300 touch screen phone

First photos of this device appeared last mount. Chinese Chuwi company introduced its latest device – Chuwi W3000 MID. It looks nice and its list of technical features is also impressive. This mobile internet device runs on Windows CE operating system and has 4.1 inch touch screen with QVGA resolution, 1.3 Mp camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, TV out, Telechips CPU and 3.5 audio jack. The list of supported media extensions includes MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG/Q10, FLAC, MPEG4 and etc.

Coming Samsung Omnia Pro

According to some sources Samsung will soon introduce its new communicator – Samsung Omnia Pro. It is said that it will have sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.5 inch AMOLED touch screen with 480x800 px resolution and 5 Mp camera. It is also expected that this coming mobile device will run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The release will take place by the end of this year.

T-Mobile Sidekick LX

T-Mobile Sidekick LX smartphone has been just announced officially and is available for advance order. In contrast to its predecessor this device has GPS with LiveSearch support, 3.2 Mp camera, third generation networks support and integration with Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace. There is also 3.2 inch screen with 854x480 px resolution, QWERTY keyboard, microSD memory card slot and Bluetooth 2.0 module. This mobile device will become available at May 13.

The Phone House online shop which is Dutch variant of Carphone Warehouse published on its site some information about Samsung B7610 Louvre which has not been announced yet. This device is sliding mobile phone. It has QWERTY keyboard, touch screen, 3.2 Mp camera (according to some sources – 5 Mp camera), GPS, Wi-Fi module and third generation networks support. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.

Gigabyte GSmart S1200 communicator

Gigabyte company also takes part in Mobile World Congress 2009 and has just announced GSmart S1200 communicator. It has classic shape and satisfies “e2” design standards. Its thickness is only 11.4 mm but it has all functions that present-day mobile device needs – Qualcomm 528 MHz CPU, 3.1 inch touch screen with 480x800 px resolution, 3 Mp camera with flash, 0.3 Mp frontal camera, 128 Mb RAM, 256 Mb ROM, microSD memory card support, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, GPS and 1010 mAh battery. The operating system of this device is Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. To improve control the producer installed Smart Zone user interface.

LG GM730 thin communicator

So MWC 2009 started and LG announced its new GM730 communicator which runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and has S-Class UI 3D user interface. This device supports 3G networks (900/2100 MHz), HSDPA (7.2 Mbit/s) and HSUP (2 Mbit/s). In addition it has SNS service support which gives an opportunity to track your location and location of our friends and colleagues. The thickness of LG GM730 is only 11.9 mm. It has 3 inch touch screen with WQVGA resolution, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and 5 Mp camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lenses. The list of pre-installed applications includes Internet Explorer Mobile 6.0. It is said that in future LG-GM730 will have Windows Mobile 6.5. There is no any information about price.
