Archos company has just officially announced its new mobile device – Archos 9 – to become available on October 22. The operating system of this MID is Windows 7. As for technical characteristics includes Atom Z510 1.1 GHz CPU, 9 inch touch screen with 1024x600 px resolution, 1 Gb RAM, 60 Gb hard disk, DVBT TV tuner, GPS and Bluetooth 2.1 modules. The weight of this table PC is 800g, It is expected that Archos 9 will cost about $500.

LG GD510 touch phone

LG is almost ready to introduce its one more touch phone. It seems that LG GD510 belongs to meddle class. This phone supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz networks standards and is equipped with touch screen with 240x400 px resolution, 2 Mp camera, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1 module and microSD memory card slot. LG GD510 measures 102x49x16 mm and weights 90 g. It is expected that this mobile phone will be officially announced by the end of this month.

Chinese NewSmy company has just announced its new portable media player. A16HD+ is equipped with 5 inch touch screen with 800x480 px resolution, ARM 11 CPU and HDMI interface. The list of supported video extensions includes RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, MP4, VOB, MOV, 3GP, MPG, DAT and MKV. Supported audio extensions are MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV APE and FLAC. The operating system is Windows CE 6.0.

Getac PS236 rugged communicator

Getac company has just revealed its new rugged communicator – Getac PS236. The case of this mobile device corresponds to IP67 and MIL-STD 810G standards. This fact means that Getac PS236 is water, dust, shock resistant and temperature difference (from -30 to +60). As for technical characteristics this new communicator has Marvell PXA310 806 MHz CPU, 3.5 inch touch screen with 480x640 px resolution, 3 Mp camera with autofocus, 128 Mb RAM, 4 Gb built-in memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS module. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.1. The dimensions are 179x97x37 mm. There is no any information about release date and price.

According to some sources Alcatel will soon announce its new mobile phone – Alcatel One Touch MINI. Its set of technical characteristics is not very impressive but design looks good. This device is equipped with 2.4 inch touch screen with 320x240 px resolution, 1.3 Mp camera, 5 Mb built in memory, microSD memory card slot (up to 4 Gb), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and 750 mAh battery. The dimensions are 96x52.4x14.6 mm, the weight is 83g. Unfortunately there is no any information about release date and price.
