Nokia 6730 Classic smartphone

Nokia together with Vodafone mobile operator has just announced its new Symbian S60 based smartphone – Nokia 6730 Classic. The list of characteristics of this device isn’t the most advanced but looks impressive. Nokia 6730 Classic has 2.2 inch screen with 320x240 px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera, 48 Mb built in memory, microSD memory card slot, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS and 2.5 mm audio jack. The list of pre-installed applications includes a number of Vodafone’s services. First it will appear in Vodafone’s shops but soon will become available for other operators.

Samsung S5050 slider

The first information about Samsung S5050 mobile phone appeared in the beginning of this year. Now we have its photos and list of technical characteristics. This sliding phone features 2.2 inch screen with 240x320 px AMOLED screen, 3.2 Mp camera with flash and autofocusing, 40 Mb built in memory, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, microSDHC memory card slot and 800 mAh battery. The dimensions are 105x49x14.6 mm. The price of this mobile device is $235.

LG Monaco QWERTY phone

Due to leak we got some information about LG Monaco – the first Windows Mobile 7 based device. This phone is rather thin – only 15.6 mm – but has sliding QWERTY keyboard. It also has Snapdragon CPU, 3.2 inch touch WVGA screen with 262K colors, 5 Mp camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS module and 1500 mAh battery. Supported network standards are UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz and EDGE (Class 10) 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.

Sharp Solar Phone SH002

Japanese KDDI mobile operator announced Sharp Solar Phone SH002. The most remarkable feature of this mobile device is solar battery which covers almost all surface of front side. This battery provides 10 minutes of talk mode after two hours “charging”. There is also additional 1.1 inch screen under the solar panel. Another interesting feature is waterproof case. Other characteristics of this phone are 3 inch touch turning screen with 480x854 px screen, 5.2 Mp camera, 900 Mb built in memory, microSD card slot, IR port, TV tuner, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 modules.

HP iPAQ K3 communicator

Formerly HP was a leading producer of Windows Mobile based devices. But it is possible that it will improve its position on world mobile technology market. Recently AT&T announced HP iPAQ K3 which is also know as HP Obsidian. It has classic shape factor and supports third generation networks. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.5. This phone also features QWERTY keyboard, 2.8 inch touch screen with 320x240 px resolution, 2 Mp camera, 256 Mb RAM, 512 Mb ROM, 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth 2.1, microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi and GPS modules. It is expected that HP iPAQ K3 will become available in November.

Mobile phones by Nokia are not very popular in US. But Finish giant of mobile industry is going to improve its positions. Here is Nokia Thresher. It sliding mobile device assigned for GSM networks. The list of characteristics includes 2.4 inch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera, Bluetooth 2.1 module, 140 Mb built in memory, microSD memory card slot and 2.5 mm audio jack. Samsung S5200

The first information about this mobile appeared a month ago. But only today its profile appeared on the official site. In many respects this device is similar to Samsung U600. Samsung S5200 is sliding mobile device with thin case – its dimensions are 103.6x48.7x10.9 mm. The set of technical features includes 2.2 inch TFT screen with 240x320 px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus and LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, FM radio with RDS, 50 Mb built in memory and microSD memory card slot. This mobile phone will become available at the beginning of June.

Mivvy Dual TV

Czech Mivvy company is new and unknown. But recently it introduced some mobile phones. One of them is Mivvy Dual TV. This phone features TV tuner and Dual SIM card mode support. Other technical features are 2.6 inch touch screen with 240x320 px resolution, FM radio with RDS, microSD memory card slot and Bluetooth 2.0. The dimensions are 116х52х15 mm. Unfortunately there is no any information about price.

The first WM communicator by Alcatel

Alcatel company is know as producer of budget class devices. But recently it announced its first communicator – Alcatel OT-S988W. It is side sliding phone with QWERTY keyboard. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The list of technical features isn’t the best but nevertheless looks impressive. Alcatel OT-S988W communicator has Qualcomm MSM7225 528 MHz CPU, 3.2 inch touch screen with 240x400 px screen and 256K colors, 3 Mp camera with autofocus, 256 Mb RAM, 256 Mb ROM, microSD memory card support, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 modules. This mobile device will be available in China via China Unicom. But it is expected that it will be released in Europe and US too.

Philips Xenium X810

Philips has just introduced some new mobile phones. One of them is Philips Xenium X810. It features big 2.8 inch touch screen with 240x400 px resolution and 262K colors. This mobile device also has 3.2 Mp camera with flash, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, 63 Mb built in memory, microSDHC memory card slot (up to 8 Gb). Xenium series phones are famous for long-living battery, Philips Xenium X810 is not exclusion. It is said that the battery provides full month of standby time. It is expected that this mobile phone will become available next month.

Samsung C3053

South Korean Samsung company has just announced its coming stylish sliding phone. It is Samsung C3053. This mobile phone belongs to budget class mobile devices and has 2 inch screen, 0.3 Mp camera, 60 Mb built in memory, microSD memory card slot (up to 8 Gb), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and FM radio with RDS. The price of Samsung C3053 coming mobile phone is only $105.

South Korean UMID company has just introduced new M1D netbook which is positioned as more economical version of previous device – M1. The set of technical characteristics includes Intel Atom 1.1 GHz CPU, 4.8 inch touch screen with 1024x600 px screen, 512 Mb RAM, 16 Gb SSD, microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules The operating system is Windows XP.

SKY Hommage mobile phone

South Korean Pantech company has just announced SKY Hommage mobile phone. It is sliding device with stylish design. The most interesting feature is 112 LEDs under the screen. The list of technical characteristics includes 2.7 inch screen with WQVGA resolution, 3 Mp camera with autofocus, T-DMB TV tuner, accelerometer and microSD memory card slot Available colors are black, white and violet.

LC KP5000 - LG Cookie clone

Chinese companies keep on mobile devices cloning and has just introduced LC KP5000 phone which is clone of LG Cookie. As many other Chinese devices this one has the same design that original phone has but different list of technical features. LC KP5000 supports GSM 900/1800 MHz networks and has 3 inch touch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 1.3 Mp camera, Bluetooth and microSD memory card slot(up to 4 Gb). There is also dual SIM card mode support. The price of this clone is only $100.

Chuwi W3000 MID

Chinese Chuwi company introduced its latest device – Chuwi W3000 MID. It looks nice and its list of technical features is also impressive. This mobile internet device runs on Windows CE operating system and has 4.1 inch touch screen with QVGA resolution, 1.3 Mp camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, TV out, Telechips CPU and 3.5 audio jack.
